Dr Dawn Menge is the author of the Queen Vernita Visitor Series. This series features characters with a variety of abilities and challenges. Today she introduces us to Heather Clark, the mother of Ireland, a young woman with Rett Syndrome that was the inspiration for one of those characters. We get to learn about Rett Syndrome and are reminded that everyone can be a friend.
